A silver voided long cross cut quarter penny (Farthing) of Henry III (1216-1272). Voided long cross coinage (1247-1279AD), Uncertain class, judging by lettering and visible hair likely class 4b to 5, North 1994, volume 1, nos.990-999. (c.1250-1272AD). Minted at London or possibly Lincol. Cut roughly from 2-5 o'clock of the obverse. Detail is sharp.
Measurements: 8.98mm long, 7.95mm wide, 0.83mm thick and 0.26g in weight.

A silver voided long cross cut halfpenny of Henry III (r.1216-1272). Minted at Canterbury probably by Willem during the period c.1251-1272. Voided long cross class 5 (d-h), North 994-99.
Obv.: Facing bust with sceptre, (detail of crown unclear due to division). Leg. '[+HENRICVS.R]EX/III'. Rev.: Voided long cross with pellets in each quarter. Leg.: 'WIL/LE[M]/[ON_/_ _ _/]'. Coin exhibits double striking on the obverse with a slight shadow behind all the features.
Measurmeents: 19.07mm long (orignall diameter), 8.91mm wide, 0.65mm thick and 0.64g in weight.
