Incomplete medieval Henry III (1247-79) voided long-cross cut halfpenny. The coin is cut down the centre of one of the reverse cross lines. This cuts from 10 o'clock to four o'clock on the obverse, making it difficult to determine which class of coin this is, as this cuts away the part of the coin which may show a sceptre. Obverse: Crowned bust, facing forwards, 'III E ?H/N R' Reverse: Voided long-cross, three pellets in each quarter, '?C/L' Class 3 (probably 3b based on the bust) minted by Nicole, unknown mint, date is 1248
