A silver medieval cut halfpenny of Henry III (1216-1272), Class 2b or 3a, dating to the period 1248-1250 and is either class IIb or IIIa. Moneyer and mint uncertain. The obverse features the bust of the king, facing forward, and has been cut off below the nose. The reverse features a voided long cross, with three pellets in each quadrant. The legend is not visible, so the moneyer or where it was minted cannot be identified.
Diameter: 12.9mm Thickness: 0.5mm, Width: 6.3mm, Weight: 0.40g
