Based on the style of the obverse, with a probable count of 7 pellets in the crown and the moneyer RICARD, this coin is probably from Richard I (1189-99). The obverse has the facing bust with sceptre in the right hand and the reverse has the voided short cross with a quatrefoil to each angle.
The coin is clipped and the obverse has been double struck.
