A Medieval silver coin; a short cross cut halfpenny probably of Richard I (AD 1189 - 1199), Class 2, dating from AD 1189 - 1190. It was struck at London, moneyer unknown. See North number 965 on page 220 of Volume 1 (1994). The coin is 19.3mm long, 9.5mm wide, 0.6mm thick and weighs 0.66g.
