A medieval silver cut halfpenny of Henry I (1100-35), 'Cross and annulets' type dating to cAD 1125-28 (North 868). Uncertain mint and moneyer. Ref: North 1994: 198. The coin was poorly struck and parts of the design and inscription are illegible. The coin is also damaged missing part of one end of the coin.

Possibly minted by the moneyer Ravenswar/Ravenswert at Hereford. Measurements: 16.45mm in diameter, 0.96mm thick 1.19g in weight. Discussion: This coin type (BMC type XII) is not previously known to have been issued at the Hereford mint. The reverse of this coin appears to read +[__]V[_]AR:ON:hER, It is possible that original reading would have been [RA]V[ENS]AR:ON:hER.
