A Medieval silver coin; an incomplete cut halfpenny short cross penny, probably of William II (1087 - 1110). The coin is possibly of Profile type dating from 1086 - 1089. The mint and moneyer are unknown. See North number 851; BMC i. The halfpenny has been bent and broken approximately half way along its length and some is missing.
