A very worn very debased gold and copper alloy stater dating to the Late Iron Age. The uniface stater appears to be an issue of the Atrebates or the Regini dating to the period 60-50 BC. The stiking on the reverse of the flan is poor and also over half of it is off-flan. This is most likely to be a 'Selsey Uniface' type (ABC 488) howeverthe charioteers arm above the horse appears to be formed of three limbs, similar to ABC 521 of the Regini. An Iron Age gold quarter stater of the Regini / Southern Region, 'Wittering Rings' type, dating to c. 60-50 BC. ABC (Rudd) 623; BMCIA (Hobbs) 375. This coin may have the same dies as the coin illustrated in ABC, with more wear around the horse's head (specifically the eye area, and on the reverse the two annulets are very worn), otherwise the markings on this coin are identical to that illustrated in ABC. Only one other issue of this coin (and of the same die) has been recorded by the PAS, also found in West Berkshire (SUR-11A824).

A complete Iron Age gold quarter stater of the Belgae / Southern Region, dating to the period 60-20 BC, 'Hampshire Thunderbolt' type. Obverse: Stylised boat with two standing figures(?) and pellet flower pattern to left and S pattern to right Reverse: Cruciform thunderbolt pattern with symbols in angles ABC (Rudd) p. 58, cf. 767; BMC cf. 131ff. On the ABC and all the British Museum specimens, the pellet flower pattern is on the right and the S pattern on the left Diameter: 11.7mm. Weight: 1.32g. DA=12:9.

A Late Iron Age silver unit of Tincomarus (25 BC-AD 10). The coin depicts a laureate head facing right on one side and a bull rearing on the other side with 'TIN' above and 'CO' below. ABC 1115; VA 381-1; BMC 911-21. The oval shape of the coin blank limits the detail on both sides. 'TIN' is roughly identifiable, but the 'CO' is cut off below.

An Iron Age gold uninscribed quarter stater of the Atrebates, probably closest to Rudd's 'Selsey Dahlia' type, ABC 503. The reverse depicts a triple-tailed horse without mane facing right, with a ring-and-pellet extending forward from its neck as in ABC 509 (Rudd's 'Bognor Cogwheel' type) but with a floral sun above and a wheel below, as per ABC 503 (also a 'Selsey Dahlia' type). Rudd dates these types to c.60-50 BC. Measures 16.7x13.2mm and weighs 1.37g. References: ABC 503, (506, 509); Van Arsdell 220, (226, 228); Hobbs (BMC) 478-84, (519-35).
