A base silver Iron Age stater of the North Thames region/ Catuvellauni and Trinovantes, struck for Tasciovanos, dating to the period c. 25BC to AD 10. Tasciovanus Hidden Faces type. Crossed wreaths, one curved, back to back crescents at centre, hidden faces in angles. Reverse depicts horse right, bucranium, solar motif and [TASCIAVAN] above, hook-like object below. As ABC 2553 VA 1680, BMC 1591-1603.
