An Iron Age silver unit of an unknown ruler of the Dobunni dating to c. 25 BC-AD 43. Cotswold Cock type. Obverse: Head Type A - moon head right, pelleted crescents for hair, boss on chin, stalking lips. Reverse: triple-tailed annulate horse left, cock's head below, bird's head above. See Rudd (2010: 103) no. ABC 2012. Coin is chipped at 7 o'clock on the obverse. Overall dimensions: 14.49mm in diameter and 1.13g in weight.

British Iron Age gold quarter stater inscribed COR (Corio), Western series, ascribed to the Dobunni. Minted circa 10 BC-AD 20. ABC (Cottam et al 2010) no. 2051 = BMC (Hobbs 1996) no. 3134 = VA (Van Arsdell 1989) no. 1039. Another example has ben discovered in Warwickshire (WAW-6ADF25) this example has pellets around the head of the horse and another rib on the tail.

A silver late Iron Age unit of the Dobunni, a western silver type of 'ANTED'. Similar to Hobbs (1996) numbers 3032-3038. Obverse, a stylised head facing right. Reverse, a stylised horse facing left, AN below. The coin dates to the late first century BC to early first century AD. It is quite worn.

A copper-alloy core of a plated silver Iron Age unit. The coin is of Western, Dobunnic type, and may be a contemporary forgery of a regular Iron Age coin. The obverse depicts a degenerated stylised head facing right, whilst the reverse depicts a horse facing right. See British Museum Catalogue numbers 3003-3011 for similar (Hobbs 1996, Plate 96). Hobbs notes that this particular type may be later than the main silver Dobunnic group, based upon the style of the right facing horse, which he suggests may exhibit a Roman influence.
