The stubs of a rolled-over wing remains on one side and is met by a broad flat upper bow with a single central longitudinal ridge. The lower bow is constricted with an oval expansion at its end. A fragment from a copper alloy Roman Colchester derivative large south-western T-shaped brooch of Hull T139, dating to c.AD 50-150. The brooch is missing its foot and pin. The wings of the brooch are 25.73mm wide and are cylindrical with a maximum diameter of 4.89mm at the bow and narrowing slightly towards their tips. Their front faces are decorated by a double incised line placed close to their outside edges. An incomplete copper alloy Roman brooch of Langton Down type dating to the late Iron Age or early Roman period, c. 25-60 AD. The bow has a lenticular cross section and meets the hinge in a semi-circular sectioned head. The arms are cylindrical but incomplete and retain a fragment of a copper alloy spring. A fragment of a copper-alloy disc of Medieval date 8th-9th century. All that remains is a quarter of the disc, which has cruciform arms and a chip-carved counter-relief interlace is net-like and occasionally expands to form small triangles. The interlace is abstract, with no animal elements identifiable, but there is evidence of gilding. The reverse is undecorated and has corrosion. The catchplate and pin are missing. An almost complete copper alloy brooch of headstud type. The bow has a moulded stud on the curve at the top. The short wings extend either side of the head, and above these the plate on which the missing spring and pin would have mounted is present, decorated with three horizontal lines. The bow ends with a circular foot. The catch plate is present but incomplete. The cylindrical mount for the spring is still on the reverse but is incomplete. An incomplete a cast copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative, probably Harlow double-lugged type dating to the first century AD. The arms are hemi-cylindrical and enclose an iron spring held on an iron spindle with a chord held in a lug projecting from the centre. The mounting arrangment of the spring axis spindle is now concealed by rusted concretion. The bow is narrow and strongly arched, triangular in cross section and decorated with a ridge along the spine. The rest of the bow, the foot and the catchplate are missing.
