A fragment of a copper-alloy stirrup strap mount dating to the eleventh century AD. The fragment comprises a portion of the now trapezoidal plate which extends at one end to a tri-lobed projection with circular perforation. The other end is broken. The upper surface of the plate is decorated with an incised pattern filled with niello. It is not possible to discern the nature of the pattern. The underside of the plate is plain. The fragment measures 29mm in length, a maximum of 23mm in width and 3mm in thickness.

A copper alloy probable stirrup-strap mount dating from the 11th century. The bottom part of the mount is missing, and it is this end which has the defining features of a stirrup-strap mount, so it's identification is uncertain. It is a triangular object with a worn zoomorphic animal head terminal at the apex. There is a rivet hole beneath this, and then the plate is decorated with niello. Cast copper alloy stirrup-strap mount of Williams Class A, with decorative silver wire and niello inlay of Anglo-Scandinavian inspiration. The mount is very worn and the inlay only survives in patches. Below the apex rivet is a pendent lobe, while at the base a union knot probably links a pair of opposed spirals which are utilised by the pair of rivet holes. Centrally is a knot within a wide ribbon-like strip which may be the body of a snake-like beast whose head is otherwise worn away. A cast copper-alloy stirrup-strap mount of late Anglo-Saxon date (c. 11th century AD). The mount is sub-pentagonal in form, characteristic of a Williams Class A, Type 1 mount (1997, 26ff.; see fig. 19). It has a trefoil apex loop with small side knobs; its hole is notably large. A copper alloy stirrup-strap mount of Williams' Class A, Type 10a (Williams 1997 p 53). The pear-shaped mount of 11th century date is extensively decorated in the Urnes style in niello with silver wire inlay. The ornament depicts a curling serpent-like beast whose head with pointed oval eyes forms the apex of the mount. The body bifurcates at a spiral hip joint; the body continues in a series of loops and appears to terminate in a scroll to the left of the hip. Cast copper alloy stirrup strap mount with niello inlay, plate roughly triangular with curving sides which bear small projections suggesting Ringerike style fronds. The inlaid design is crude and appears to represent knot work motifs. There is a transverse step/ledge across base.
