A corroded and incomplete early Medieval (Anglo Saxon) strap end of Thomas' Class A, type 5. The rear half of the strap end survives, with its characteristic split rear end and two rivet holes which are incomplete. The front of the object has panels of complex decoration of uncertain design, possible Trewhiddle style, with a small fragmentary area of niello and silver wire spiral inlay surviving. Circa 9th century AD.

An early-medieval convex-sided copper-alloy strap end of Thomas' Class A1, 38.7mm in length and dating to the 9th century AD. The central panel has incised decoration in the Trewhiddle style, formed of an interlace pattern and inlaid with silver white metal. The attachment end is split with drilled two rivet holes thought both sides; the rivets have been lost. The terminal end is zoomorphic with incised ears and snout visible. The reverse is undecorated. There is some damage in the form of a split across the front towards the attachment end.

An Early Medieval copper-alloy strap end with two rivet holes; both appear to be replacements after the split end had broken off (there are two earlier holes visible in the break). The strap end has a zoomorphic terminal which is thickened and a large panel on the body which comprises interlacing shoots and tendrils which form a symmetrical design of three registers. A small patch of niello inlay survives at one point.

A copper alloy early medieval strap end dating to the 9th century. The strap end has a debased head with the ears behind; the neck is slightly waisted. On the curving body is a six-sided panel which contains a sinuous interlacing beast whose tale ends in a scroll and whose head looks forward to the left, the mouth agape. A leg and foot can be seen adjacent to the lower part of the frame. The decoration has been inalid with what appears to have been niello, though now rather degraded. The bifurcated attachment end is a little broken.

An incomplete cast silver-strap-end, partially gilded and with niello inlay. The fragment comprises the terminal of the strap-end, totalling approximately one-third to one-half of the original object. An incomplete early medieval cast copper alloy strap end of zoomorphic form. The strap end takes the form of an animal head in high relief, The head has bulging pointed oval eyes with a small circular pit at the centre of each, a snub nose with nostrils, and oval ears each of which has three lentoid recesses. A panel of niello inlay extends from the ears to the nose and this is panel is infilled with a scrolling silver wire inlay. A fragment of a worn strap-end with worn decoration. One end is split but is missing the fixing holes; the terminal end is also missing. The long edges are gently curved. Remains of interlinked ring-and-dot decoration, probably originally niello-inlaid but now standing proud of the surface. There is also a contouring grooved border. From the shape (often called tongue-shaped) it is likely to be broadly 9th-century, and of Thomas's Class A, Type 2 (patterned).

A strapend of typical mid-late Saxon form with a zoomorphic terminal and a panel decorated in the Trewhiddle style. The attachment end is broken and bent upwards but there are slight traces of the two attachment holes. The central panel is inlaid with light brown, possibly decayed enamel, and shows a curling beast with open mouth and intertwined limbs. The hindquarters sit above the ears of the zoomorphic terminal which has a niello inlaid panel on its forehead.
