A Medieval copper alloy incomplete purse frame (AD1450-1500). The curved purse frame is constructed from a strip of copper alloy that is worked to form a right angle along the length. Both ends terminate in a loop for suspension. The frame is slightly distorted and one end is missing and the other terminal is broken across the loop. The front edge is decorated with a foliate pattern and an inscription "[---]EO HONOR ET GLORIA" inlaid with niello. An Early Medieval (Viking) copper alloy hooked tag (late 9th – early 10th century). The hooked tag has a trapezoidal plate with a hook projecting from one edge. The plate has two circular perforations aligned along the opposite edge to the hook. The front of the plate is decorated with an incised geometric pattern forming a knot work motif inlaid with niello. The knot work is in the Scandinavian Borre style that dates the hooked tag.
