A complete silver hooked tag of early medieval date. The hooked tag comprises a flat, circular plate with a single, circular perforation in the centre of the upper edge, and an integral hook protruding from the centre of the lower edge. The hook curves backwards underneath the tag, and is sharp and complete. The upper surface of the plate is incised with a cruciform motif, with small areas of niello inlay preserved, particularly at the edge nearest the hook.

An incomplete cast copper alloy strap end, of later Medieval date (1200-1450). The strap end is cast in one piece with the decorated terminal shaped like a fleur-de-lis being cut and filed into shape. In plan, profile and cross section the strap-end is broadly sub-rectangular. One terminal is wrought to form a lis with a globular spearhead shaped head and angular horizontal projections forming the side fleurs / petals.
