Incomplete cast copper alloy T-shaped brooch, length 30mm, width 29mm. Tubular wings which hold the pin axes bar, there is a slot in the centre of the wings at the rear for the pin, which is missing. The front of the wings are decorated with vertical line. There is a low crest on the top of the head and a series cells below that would have held enamel. The bow is truncated half way down resulting in the loss of the catch plate. Although this artefact is heavily corroded, remains of a silver wash is still visible in some areas.

Cast copper alloy knife pommel length 16mm, width 12mm, thickness 10mm, weight 10.48g. Oval in cross-section with a slot in the base that retains some of the iron tang, diagonal lines run down either side, there is a six pointed incises star on the top which appears to have been inlayed with silver.

Cast copper alloy spoon bowl length 63mm, width 46mm, thickness 11mm, weight 18.8g. The bowl is elliptic, the widest would have had the stem protruding from the centre, in cross-section the bowl is deeply dished. Below where the stem would have joined the bowl is a makers mark of three alternating spoons surrounded by an inscription TROB[.]LL[…]ITED
The underside is heavily corroded, most of the topside retains it original surface which was silvered.
The shape of the bowl is known from the 16th to 17th century.

Sheet copper alloy strap end length 16mm, width 14mm, thickness 1mm, weight 1.32g. The artefacts has been bent in two with a single rivet hole at the attachment end about 40% of the surface retains a silver coating. The edges are serrated as a result of heavy damage from corrosion. Overall the object is in a poor condition and is heavily corroded.
This use of these types of artefact dates from Roman Period to the Medieval Period, although they are much more common in the Medieval Period.

Cast copper alloy trumpet brooch, length 37mm, width 10mm, thickness 19mm, weight 6.96g. Oval head with a rearward projecting loop on the reverse that would have held the spring. On the top of the head is a loop.
Moulded decoration on the head, with a rope style crest running down to the moulded knee, below which is a double set of engraved crescents, a double engraved line runs down the length of the leg, with a single line flanking. The bottom of the leg is truncated. The top of the catch plate is missing.
The artefact was silvered.

Copper-alloy disc brooch, length 41mm, width 39mm, thickness 11mm, weight 13.32g. The brooch is a slightly uneven oval, made from sheet copper alloy only 1mm thick. Running around the circumference of the face is an incised line 3mm from the edge; there is also a ring and dot in the centre. All have been cut or carved into the surface.
On the reverse is the catch plate and pin support. The pin support is a single tab 11mm tall, 9mm long and 5mm wide, this narrows towards the top where it is partially truncated. At the top is a circular hole, which has iron corrosion in the cent…

D-shaped frame with a rectangular cross section, the strap bar is narrowed and recessed with a rectangular cross-section the centre of which is worn where the pin rested. Possible buckle plate, length 30mm, width 7mm, thickness >1mm. The artefact is made from a cut sheet of copper alloy. It may have originally been a folded sheet holding a buckle but the forward edge is broken, this is an old break. There are two rivet holes at the attachment end, one of which is missing. There is a semicircular cleft on the attachment edge in between the rivet holes. It is in a fair condition with some of the original patina remaining on the reverse there are the remains of silvering which show up a series of striations which would be the original working. Strapend, 27mm long, 9mm wide, 3mm wide. The artefact is tongue shaped in that it has a flat attachment end, the side are straight and gently narrow (from 9mm wide to 6mm wide) to the rounded terminal. From the terminal and running for three quarters of the length of the strapend are two central ridges 19mm long, each is 1mm wide. Surrounding the ridges and covering the top of the artefacts are ring and dot decoration that has been drilled into the surface. The strap end is made of three copper alloy sheet that have riveted together, the third sheet runs for only half the length in the forward section and is sandwiched in between the two larger plates, this results in a slotted attachment end which would have held the strap. There is a copper alloy rivet towards the forward edge and a second in the centre of the attachment end, this one appears to be made or iron. Double looped buckle. The loops are oval, the forward edge of each frame is pointed and behind the point is a hole (3mm diameter). The strap bar is narrowed and there is a hole (3mm diameter) at either end. The outside edge of the buckle is serrated.
The artefact is copper alloy and has been silvered.
The artefact has a silvery-dark grey patina, there are patches (mainly on leading edges) there copper corrosion is coming through.
