A contemporary forgery of a silver Groat of Edward IV or Edward V, 1461-1483AD. This coin is made of copper-alloy and has been silvered. The small size is probably deliberate and designed to imitate clipping. It measures 24.5mm in diameter, 0.9mm thick and weighs 2.14g. It is worn and corroded.
