A damaged and incomplete plated copy of a silver Roman republican denarius (Reece period 1). Coin is broken and approximately 40% of flan missing with the core exposed revealing plating. Obverse shows bust facing right. Reverse depicts Victory in a quadriga. Partial inscription in exurge [...]IVCC. Diameter 16.8 mm, thickness 1.55 mm and weight 2.0 g.

Silver plated contemporary copy of a Roman Republican denarius of the moneyers Q Sicinius and C Copnoius who were travelling with Pompey, dating to 49BC (Reece Period 1). Head of Apollo / lionskin hanging from club. RRC p. 461, cf. 444/1a. The coin is heavily eroded and pitted with a copper alloy core evident through the erosion.

A complete but very worn Roman Republican silver denarius of Mark Anthony, dating to c.32-31BC. It is Legionary coinage made by a travelling mint. The obverse is so worn that no detail could be discerned, but it would have probably depicted two legionary standards with an eagle between them and named a specific legion.The reverse shows a galley with banners but is struck slightly off flan; no legends are visible.
