A near complete Roman copper alloy hinged Hod Hill type E brooch dating to the period c. AD 40 - 60. Only the pin is missing. The head of the brooch projects backwards in a sub-rectangular plate which has been rolled forwards around a (possibly copper alloy) axis bar. The head survives to a width of 16.6mm and is 3.1mm thick where it contains the axis bar. A slot has subsequently been cut into the reverse of the head to accommodate the pin which is missing. An incomplete, silver plate, composite strap end of Medieval date (c. AD 1200-1400). The strap end is sub-rectangular in form and is comprised of two plates with a central protruding pointed knop at one end and an inwardly curved edge at the other. An incomplete silvered white metal rectangular buckle frame of Post Medieval dating (AD 1690 to AD 1720). Less than 50% of the buckle frame is present, consisting of one loop. The front has been decorated with a ring and dot design in each surviving corner and one in between. Triangular knops are present on the corners. Crescents are present linking each ring and dot roundel. Rouletted grooves are present on the inner edges of the crescents. The reverse of the buckle frame is flat and undecorated. An incomplete copper alloy dagger scabbard chape dating to the late Medieval date to early Post Medieval period (c. AD 1400 - 1600). The object is formed from a sheet of copper alloy, rolled over to form a narrow, tapering tube. Where the ends of the rolled sheet of alloy meet they are overlapped and there is a single, longitudinal seam. The opening at the top end is cracked and fragmented. The metal sheet is 0.9 mm thick. A cast copper alloy Medieval seal matrix probably dating from the 14th century (c. AD 1300 - 1400) The matrix die is circular although its edge is now chipped along most of its circumference. The pedestal has six facets, the divisions of which remain clear and defined.
