An unfinished bone or ivory cuboid die, probably of late Medieval or Post Medieval date. The number 6 is indicated by drilled dot marks on one of the sides; the other 5 sides are blank. The die is similar in style to PAS record PUBLIC-96A5C9, but cannot be assigned to one of Potter's variant, due to the missing number arrangements. Bone dice were also used in the Roman period however, so an earlier date cannot be ruled out. The die is irregular in shape and measures 8.5mm by 8.3mm by 8.1mm, and weighs 1.2g.

A uniface, lozenge-shaped, artefact with one axis slightly longer than the other, made from jet (or possibly shale), of unknown date. The upper face of the lozenge is decorated with narrow, incised grooves forming an unintelligable design. The design consists of a pair of closely spaced lines, beginning in the angle at one end of the shorter axis. If this angle is considered to be the right hand end of the short axis they then form a horizontal left-hand loop that curves back, passes beneath itself then forms a smaller loop at the upper right side before passing beneath itself again a…

Age uncertain possibly Roman to Post Medieval. Crudely cast, lead alloy, fair size, flat, circular probable unofficial trade weight. There is a hand scratched possible clock face effect on the probable upper surface. There are heat contraction marks just inside the perifery on the back and a possible central 'Tudor' rose design around a small central dimple in the centre. An incomplete possible Roman copper-alloy pin or toilet implement. The shank, broken at one end, has a circular cross section; the other, unbroken, end is a flat head, possibly anthromorphic in nature. Under this 'head' are multiple horizontal grooves with a double-stranded saltire towards the middle of the item; this is followed by yet more grooves. This item resembles an apostle spoon, but a wide date range of Roman to Medieval is suggested.

Copper alloy unidentified object fragment. Rectangular cast strip with rounded corners at one end, broken at the other. One side bears incised decoration of closely spaced horizontally incised lines in six crudely defined rectangular zones marked by strongly defined but wandering lines at right angles to the finer sort. These alternate between narrower and broader zones. Diagonal lines pass over both the compartments and their filling, and a general intent to provide coruscation as light fell on these details might be inferred. Bent near the broken end. Though copious evidence for Ang…

Copper alloy unidentified object. Cast plate with parallel straight sides, broken at one end, chipped at the other, and possibly also chipped along its other long edge, where it is conceivable that another thick and rounded edge has been lost. One edge is rounded and thickened, and bears three nicks. The adjacent part of the plate bears further lighter incised nicks which share the orientation of those at the edge, but which are restricted to close to the rounded edge. This might be from a furnished grave, but might equally be earlier – in either case, the original form of the objec…

Unidentified and probably incomplete copper-alloy object of unknown date. It consists of a rectangular element measuring 8.0 x 5.8 x 2.6mm, which is longitudinally convex (thinner at the narrow ends) and moulded with relief decoration on one face and flat on the reverse. An integral, straight, oval-cross-sectioned rod projects 8.1mm from the centre of one of the long edges. It projects at ninety degrees to that edge but on a plane that deviates from that of the rectangle by about ten degrees towards the flat face. It appears to terminate in a worn break.
