Decription:
Obverse: Portrait facing left, inside beaded circle. Lettering around outside, date underneath. NAPOLEON III EMPEREUR BARRE [185?].
Reverse: Displayed eagle, head facing right holding bundle of arrows. EMPIRE FRANÇAIS // DIX CENTIMES. Both mint marks are illegible.
The coin also has 12 punch marks around the obverse beaded circle.

Description: The object remains as part of the rim of a vessel for food preparation, either a bowl or plate. A Post Medieval discoidal cast lead alloy trade weight of 111.86g (4oz or 1/4 lb avoirdupois) dating from circa AD1625-1685. One side has three incuse stamps: a crowned letter C (Royal Cypher for Charles I or II), the Sword of St.Paul's (City of London Guildhall) and an 'angel and scales' (the stamp of the Plumbers Company). The reverse is unmarked apart from some damage.

A copper-alloy ring-type seamless thimble of post-medieval date (c.1520-1600).
Description: The sides of the timble taper inwards from the base to the top. It has a circumferential basal plain band with one groove, right-hand spiral of triangular pits. The thimble is slightly misshapen with stress fracture cracks.

An incomplete copper-alloy plate brooch in the shape of a swastika, dating either to the Roman period or the early early-medieval period.
Description: The brooch consists of four radially aligned right-angled arms running anti-clockwise. One arm is broken off a short way from the centre. Description: The obverse has a raised design of a single masted clinker built ship (cog) with standing rigging. The reverse is undecorated and surface is heavily pitted.

Description: a circular weight made of a simple blob of lead; rounded upper surface, flattened on the reverse. No unit of weight marked, but deeply impressed with a personal seal. This shows two heraldic beasts, probably lions, passant left, within a circle. The weight has an overall white patina.

A fragment of wheel thrown and slipped Roman deocrated ceramic bowl produced in Samian (Terra Sigillata) Central Gaulish micaceous Lezoux ware, dating to the period c. AD 50-120.
Description: The fragment i roughly rectangular with stamped raised decoraiton, no evidence of rim or base is visible. The fabric is hard fired, with distinctive abundant fine mica inclusions with some fine quartz sand and rounded limestone particles.

Description: The weight is square in plan and roughly trapezoidal in cross section. The lower face being narrower than the upper. The upper face has a decoative device a beaded border, but is otherwise illegible due to wear. The weight is mottled dark orangey brown with patches of green.

A Post Medieval copper alloy thimble made from hammered sheeting (16th century).
Description: The thimble has a rounded crown with a row of small circular, drilled pits that spiral downwards from the crown to the base; the crown has been flattened. The lower edge where the spiral ends is smooth and undecorated, with some damage.

A fragment of sheet metal gold, likely of early Bronze Age date.
Description: Embossed gold decorated fragment wit 4 ribs running parallel to the edges. The outer and interior ribs are decorated with pointille decoration. The fragment has a perforation at the narrower end which could be for suspension. The break is regular. The shape of the fragment suggests that it might have had a crescentic shape when complete. A late Medieval (c. AD 1400-1550) cast copper alloy thimble. The thimble is circular, now slightly flattened, with a domed top. The walls of the thimble flare outwards to the rim. The sides and the domed top have a series of indentations around them that are broadly sub-circular in shape. Some of the indentations on the top are smaller than those found on the walls. These are arranged in a circumferential spiral band and are relatively evenly spaced. The thimble has a mid-green coloured even but slightly abraded patina.
