A complete highly decorated Medieval single loop trapezoidal shaped buckle and floral strap plate dating to c. AD 1250-1500.  The buckle consists of an elongated trapezoidal buckle frame, an articulating pin and folded strap plate with quatrefoil applique. The frame of the buckle is an an elongated trapezoidal with an offset and slightly recessed strap bar. A complete Medieval cast silver-gilt finger ring, of stirrup style, and dating to c.AD.1150-1500. Description: The object is stirrup shaped, with a sub-circular hoop rising to a triangular bezel. In cross-section the hoop is D-shaped and is uninscribed. The bezel has an integrally cast silver boss, in place and in imitation of a gem setting. A fragment of a copper-alloy disc of Medieval date 8th-9th century. All that remains is a quarter of the disc, which has cruciform arms and a chip-carved counter-relief interlace is net-like and occasionally expands to form small triangles. The interlace is abstract, with no animal elements identifiable, but there is evidence of gilding. The reverse is undecorated and has corrosion. The catchplate and pin are missing. An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval harness pendant. It is escallop in shape, and therefore likely to be religious as a shell is a common badge of pilgrimage and have been found in late twelfth0centruy contexts in East Anglia (Ashley, 2002, p 26). There is evidence of gilding on the front of the pendant, and in the centre is a globular headed rivet. There is stamped decoration visible, depicting the scallops of the shell. An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval buckle. The frame is circular in form, with an integral plate, which tapers towards an old break. The frame protrudes on each side before the plate. The plate retains the pin, and has a circular hole for a, now missing, rivet and terminates at the remains of another circular hole at the break. There is gilding evident, in a design of a central line, and 45 degree diagonal lines on each side of the central line. A similar example can be seen in Egan and Pritchard, 2011, pg 78, fig 48, 320-231.  Length: 32.17mm Width: 14.60mm Weight: 3.70g
