Copper alloy finger ring. Cast penannular band, tapering to opposed points opposite the bezel, which comprises a moulded bar with five small pits for inset glass stones [lost]. A moulded V appears at each shoulder. Probably a ‘fairing’ or item of trinket jewellery. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1800-1900 Height (as found): 20.2mm, Band Width: 4.8mm, Band Thickness (at bezel): 2.2mm, Weight: 1.75gms

A complete Medieval cast silver-gilt finger ring, of stirrup style, and dating to c.AD.1150-1500. Description: The object is stirrup shaped, with a sub-circular hoop rising to a triangular bezel. In cross-section the hoop is D-shaped and is uninscribed. The bezel has an integrally cast silver boss, in place and in imitation of a gem setting. A gilded late Medieval to early post Medieval finger ring that has been broken and later repaired, with a thin gilded copper alloy band soldered to the inside of the bezel. An incomplete Post Medieval to Modern copper alloy finger ring, probably dating to c AD1750-1900. It has an slim oval section hoop and a sub circular bezel with raised sides, effectively a collet.The bezel is empty,although there are many scratchmarks indise it. There is a circular cell in the centre. The edges of the bezel are decorated with tiny inverted triangular stamped or punched marks. Tiny areas of gilding are apparent below these marks. An incomplete medieval gem-set silver gilt 'stirrup' finger ring. The hoop is undecorated, with a plano-convex or D-shaped cross section, and although now broken would have had an internal diameter of approximately 17mm when intact. The bezel is pointed and triangular, 4.6mm high, with a  single setting for a (now lost) oval gemstone measuring 3mm in length and 2.2mm wide. The smooth shoulders of the bezel merge into the hoop. There are no marks or inscriptions.

An incomplete gilded copper alloy finger ring of neoclassical style and post medieval (Georgian) date. The ring has a large oval bezel of 14.2mm by 12.6mm set with a glass gem over a gilded image of a left-facing draped female bust which appears to be moulded in relief on the base of the bezel, and has the glass set over it. The hoop is narrow, 1.4mm thick and plano convex in profile at the break. There are flared biconical collars at the shoulders, with incised line decoration.

A cast copper alloy finger ring, which is gilded in places, and 19.85mm in diameter. The bezel comprises a slightly domed facet, 8.04mm wide, which has two faceted shoulders, approximately 1mm wide. The bezel has the remains of guilding.Either side of the shoulders of the bezel are moulded inserts, sub-ovoid in shape, one of which houses a dark shiny insert, possibly enamel. The other insert is missing.The hoop tapers to 1.61mm deep at the bottom, compared to 5.25mm at the bezel. Where the rings guilding has worn away, the ring has a dark brown patina.
