A Medieval gilded copper alloy harness pendant, from around AD 1100 - 1300.  The openwork copper alloy pendant is annular or ring shaped, and has a sub circular projecting suspension loop with a perforation at riht angles to the plane of the pendant, and the remains of an axis bar in situ. The top of the L appears to be a complete edge. The top right corner of the plate is absent owing to an aoriginal curved edge. A Medieval copper-alloy gilded scallop shell shaped horse harness pendant suspension mount dating from AD 1175 - 1400. The mount has four lobes round the top, a smaller one to each side, and a flat base. A  slotted hinge tabs projects from the lower edge, and the tab is bent back on itself.  A large doneheaded rivet pierces the centre of the mount and projects font and back.
