An incomplete cast copper-alloy Medieval buckle frame and plate. The buckle frame resembles a Meols type 2, D shaped buckle, dating to AD 1250-1350. The frame has a flat, expanded outer edge, with engraved transverse grooves. The frame has a narrowed and offset bar with an in-situ copper-alloy pin.  The buckle plate is square with four in-situ copper-alloy rivets and one hole where the rivet would have been. A complete cast copper alloy D-shaped buckle dating to the Post Medieval period c.AD1500-1650. The pin is missing. The buckle frame has a vertical axis bar and then a broadly D-shaped frame having a curved outer edge. This outer edge is splayed the inner edge being higher than the outer. this angled edge has deeply incised decoration creating a series of wavey patterns. The axis bar is recessed and slightly offset with knops projecting from its tips away from the frame. The buckle has a glossy medium green patina. A Post Medieval lead alloy uniface token of of Powell type 12 (Quartered geometric). The token is circular in plan and sub-rectangular in cross section. One surface has a raised design of a central cross dividing the token into quarters, and further lines dividing each quarter into geometric segments. The reverse is flat and plain. The token is a mid to dark grey colour. It has a diameter of 16.14mm, is 2.79mm thick and weighs 3.40 grams.
