Toy arrowhead with the arrow being comprised of copper alloy sheet. The wooden shaft survives in part; this is broken where the tang for the arrow ends. The shaft is composed of two semi-cylindrical-shaped pieces of wood held together by the remnants of resin and possibly textile at the base of the arrowhed. The wood encloses the tang and part of the base of the arrowhead. The arrowhead is crudely formed and slightly irregular (asymmetrical). Treasure case No: 2005 T209 This circular mount for a stone, with petalled border, twisted wire and claw setting is unlikely to be earlier than the late 19th century. The fragmentary bar at the back suggests that it may have served as a sleeve or dress stud. It does not fall within the Treasure Act.

A gold finger ring with a black and white cameo. The hoop if the ring is narrow and D-shaped in section. The shoulders are decorated with three incised rings on each side. The bezel is oval, with a hollow back. It has a black backplate sat on top of the gold bezel setting. On top of the black there is a white carved image featuring a female bust. She is facing left and wears a draped head dress. Both the black and the white elements are slightly damaged with scratches and marks. This ring dates to the first half of the 19th Century. A thimble made of silver and cast of one piece. It is long with a rounded top and a thickened rim. It measures 22.3 mm. long, 19.7 mm. wide at the rim, and 14.4 mm. thick. It is decorated with regular rows of circular indentations on the top and sides. It is complete with little wear, although very tarnished and slightly bent on one side. There is a shallow dent on the other side. It dates from around the nineteenth-century.

It is decorated with rows of circular indentations on the top and upper sides. The lower sides are decorated with a floral pattern. It is complete with slight wear and little tarnish. There are three very small holes at the line separating the indentations from the floral pattern. It has been bent inwards near the base. There are four marks on the rim: 'CM' and three makers' marks. It dates from around the nineteenth century.

A thimble made of cast silver. It is tall with a rounded top and an unthickened rim. It is 23.1 mm. long, 21.9 mm. wide at the base, and 11 mm. thick. Its decoration is divided into thirds. The top and upper sides are decorated with rows of circular indentations. The middle of the sides is decorated with a leaf-shaped pattern. The base is decorated with a scroll pattern that was soldered on. It is mostly complete but worn on one side. The soldered pattern on the base has broken off on one side. The thimble is very dented and tarnished. It dates from around the nineteenth-century.

A cast pewter saddler's nameplate, with an ornate shield shape. The brass is stamped: G.C.SMITH SADDLER YORK 64 GOODRAMGAT. There are two corroded rivets on the reverse. David Poole has found records of one George Curry Smith, born 23/03/1872 at Bulmer, died, 18/04/1972 at Moorlyn Old Person's home, Tadcaster Road. He was apprenticed in York and set up a shop on Goodramgate between 1902 and 1909 and remained there until about 1953. His shop was in Lady Row, a few yards east of Holy Trinity church. He and his wife Agatha (nee Hawkins) are buried beneath the same headstone in York cemet…

A decorative brass hinge from a horse harness, stamped with the saddler's name. The hinge is formed of two roughly triangular pieces, meeting at their short sides, with the long sides having wavy edges. One end is missing. The artefact is curved when seen from the side. The obverse is stamped: W.C.CAMPBELL & SON MAKER FORGE VALLEY. W.C Campbell & Son are recorded at Forge Valley, East Ayton in 1905.

A cast lead figurine of modern date. The figurine comprises the head and shoulders of a male figure with a pointed peaked cap. The eyes are formed from two shallow depressions underneath which a hooked nose extends. A full, curved moustache and goatee style beard frame the mouth. The left hand side of the face has been damaged. The reverse of the figurine is flat and undecorated. The metal is a mid blackish-brown colour and is worn. The figurine is 50.7mm long, 26.7mm wide, 17.1mm thick and weighs 68g.

A cast copper alloy seal of post-medieval to modern date. The seal is a thick disc incised on one face with a thin circular border. Within this border are two anchors possitioned at opposite sides of the object. The letters "sh" are also visable close to the border above and between the anchors. The other face is very worn and appears to be undecorated. The outer surface is decorated with patches of crude and irregular cross hatching. The interior surface is smooth and undecorated. A cast copper alloy unidentified object of probably modern date. The object is irregularly shaped and is decorated with a series of horizontal lines and circular indentations. The shape and design is reminiscent of a cheek piece. The object is bent. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal is a mid reddish-brown colour and is only slightly worn. The object is 113.4mm long, 87.4mm wide, 2.4mm thick and weighs 80g. Due to the lack of any diagnostic features and the lack of contextual evidence an earlier date for this object cannot be ruled out.
