The stater is a coin of the Eastern Region / Catuvellauni and Trinovantes struck under Cunobelinus (about AD 8 - 41), Cunobelinus Linear X-type with an X privy mark under the A of CAMV. The coin is 17.8mm diameter, 3mm thick and 5.07g. See ABC number 2774 on page 136 and Van Arsdell number 1925-5 on page 397 (= BMC 1772). Compare also LANCUM-5FE7DC.
Obverse: Vertical corn ear with a central stalk. CA at left side, MV at right side and a letter X under the A.
