An incomplete copper-alloy Roman Colchester derivative rear-hook brooch. The head is semi-cylindrical in shape with a rounded outer face and concave reverse where the missing pin fitting would have been secured originally. The outer face of each wing is decorated with two transverse flutes with groups of three transverse ribs between them and across the outer ends. The stub of a rear-facing hook projects from the centre of the upper edge of the head. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy Colchester Derivative hinged pin brooch dating to AD 43-120. T-shaped in plan and C-shaped in section it consists of a tubular wings housing a pin now survived by a stub in a central slot in the top of the wings. The wings are decorated with diagonal grooves. The bow tapers inwards. It has a rounded front face, straight edges and a flat underside. The front of the bow is decorated with a central spine set above a lateral reduced band. Below this are two transverse grooves before the bow terminates in ancient break. The catchplate is missing.

An incomplete Roman copper-alloy continental plate brooch dating to circa AD 200-300. The brooch is complete save for the missing pin. The plate is circular with four recessed quadrants, set aside a central saltire. There are four small peripheral lobes (one broken) at or near the diagonals. All remaining ones have a creamy enamelled fill. The quadrants demosntrate the remains of some enamel; one has some red and visible indents where once small discs were placed in the corners.
