An incomplete medieval cast copper alloy single loop buckle with its plate. The frame probably would have had a thickened and decorated front edge, however it has broken across both sides close to the bar which is recessed and offset and retains the plate which is wrapped around it. The plate is undecorated and tapers towards the rear end. A portion of the copper alloy pin is retained on the bar.

A retouched tertiary flake of dark grey brown flint, probably of later Neolithic to Bronze Age date. The flake is trapezoidal with a projecting point on one corner of the distal edge. This edge has short abrupt retouch along its length with what appears to be a small burin removal at the tip of the point to refine it for use as a piercing or engraving tool.

A curved flint flake, apparently removed from the cutting end of a Neolithic flaked axehead. The flake appears to represent a corner of the cutting end of the axehead and has a triangular cross section with removal scars on both sides and a concave inner surface which is the break from the tool. the low bulb-of-percussion and feathered ends to the flake suggest this was a deliberate, contemporary removal, probably for sharpening or finishing purposes.

A heavily abraded rim fragment from a large medieval vessel, possibly a jug, with a buff coloured sand-tempered fabric. The fragement includes part of the rim, which had an original internal diameter of around 150mm and has an exterior flange to seat a lid. Below this is an abraded stump of a strap handle, decorated with pierced holes. The exterior surface has splashes of a green glaze.

The fabric is reduced grey, hard fired and sandy with heavily iron stained surfaces from prolonged deposition in a riverine environment. The handle has a U-shaped cross section and the exterior side has incurved scalloped edges. There are vitrified areas and an overall malformation suggesting that this may be a kiln waster.

The hanger is 48.4mm in length with moulded foliate or vine scroll decoration and two rivet holes which have traces of rusted iron rivets.
