An extremely Medieval French Jetton dating to c.15th centuries AD, probably a Tournai stock issue dating to c. 1415-c. 1497, but probably struck after 1478. The obverse carries a crown within a wire line circle, surrounded by the legend AVE MARIA GRACIA PL ERA DN On the reverse is a double-voided cross fleuretty within a double tressure of four arches. In the centre of the cross is a voided quatrefoil and there is a flower of three petals in each of the angles. The letters A-V-E-M are within the corners.

A Post-Medieval copper-alloy Nuremberg jetton, dating to AD 1600-1700. Description: The jetton is circular in plan and in a good condition. The token is a mid-green in colour. Obverse: The bust of Mercury, facing right, within a fleur-de-lys and pellets border. Reverse: An imperial orb within a trefoil tressure, bordered by rosettes. Measurements: Diameter: 22 mm and Weight: 1.95 g. Discussion: This jetton was minted in Nuremberg and is not currently attributed to a specific master.
