Roman copper alloy nummus from the 4th century AD, very heavilly worn and encrusted with corrosion products. The obverse shows a diademed bust facing right, the reverse shows a figure advancing right, dragging a captive. No legends or mint marks are legible. This compares favourably to later 4th century types (364-378 AD, Reece & James (2000) number 140, p41) and may be a nummus of Valentinian or Valens.
