An incomplete copper-alloy zoomorphic hooked escutcheon from an Anglo-Saxon hanging bowl of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 550 – 700. Only the terminal of the escutcheon remains which is in the form of a stylised animal head, possibly serpentine.
