Square uniface copper alloy coin weight for a half angel. On the obverse is the archangel Michael spearing a dragon at his feet, to the right. This is a British made weight for a half angel, a coin first issued in 1464 (Withers and Withers 1995: 21). It is 14.4 by 14.1mm and 1.9mm thick; it weighs 2.10 grams, 32.3 grains. A full weight half angel of the period 1464-1604 weighed 40 grains; coin weights are typically made slightly light and lose more weight through corrosion.

A copper-alloy uniface coin weight of late Medieval to Post-Medieval date. It is flat, circular in shape and with uneven edges and an undecorated back face. On the front face is depicted St. Michael with a halo spearing a dragon to the right. He appears to have a slightly bent right leg and a fairly straight left leg. The weight measures approximately 12.39mm in diameter, and 2.81mm in thickness.
