Eight base sherds of Grey Ware vessels dating to the late Roman period. The sherds are of hard, light grey fabric with abundant mica inclusions of varying size. There is a shortage of closely dateable pieces in the group, so dating has been extrapolated from the broad date range of the site.

Stem fragment from a late post-medieval clay smoking pipe. A small part of the bowl survives at one end whilst the stem has suffered an old lateral break part way along the length. The stem now measures 57.1mm in length, 13.5mm in width at the bowl fragment end and 7.25mm in diameter at the break. The inner diameter measures c. 1.7mm and the fragment weighs 4.28g. Three fragments of vessels, probably dating from the Medieval to Post Medieval periods. Total weight: 56.97g. The fragments are all from the rims of vessels with a small amount of body remaining. 1. Hard, mid brown fabric with tiny ovoid voids. Distinct rim. 2. Soft, orange fabric with small circular voids. Thickened edge to form rim. 3. Soft oragne fabric with mid grey center. No visible inclusions or voids. Rim curves away from body at c. 45 degress before curving under with thickened edge.

Fragment of a ceramic vessel dating to the Post Medieval period. The sherd forms part of the body of the vessel including a fragment of ovoid sectioned handle. The fabric is hard with sparse inclusions of small round black grains, probably grog or stone. The inner and outer sufaces of the vessel are glazed with a smooth black glaze. The inner surface has visible throw marks indicating the vessel was manufactured by wheel. The sherd measures 6.4mm in thickness (13.2mm including the fragment of surviving handle) and weighs 24.76g.

Three grey ware pottery rim sherds from different vessels. 1) Fine sandy grey ware with mica inclusions. There is a double groove running around the base of the rim. The rim is oval in cross section, with a flattened back edge. The neck extends at a 90 degree angle from the base of the rim. Grey ware pottery vessel sherd. The surface of the fabric is quite rough with small flint inclusions throughout. There are some sparce voids from larger inclusions which have either burnt of leached out of the fabric. There are also several large (c1-2mm) black inclusions, although these are extremely sparce. The sherd measures 48.00mm by 36.66mm, is 10.24mm thick and weighs 22.60mm. The sherd only slightly curves.
