A complete flint probable tranchet axe of Mesolithic date (c.10,000-4000BC). Description: The object is sub-rectangular in plan and broadly oval in cross section. It has a blunt, roughly flattened butt and sharp, rounded distal end which has some later damage on one side. It is bifacially worked with invasive, scaled, semi-abrupt retouch producing large scars. The object is translucent mottled grey and the dorsal face has light grey patination. Measurements: Length: 96mm; width: 45.4mm; thickness: 28.5mm; weight: 150.24g.

A  large copper alloy fragment, possibly from a church bell, dating to the Medieval to Post Medieval period (AD 1400-1800). The fragment is irregular in plan and cross section. Each side of the fragment has a worn and broken edge. The fragment has a convex outer face which is plain and undecorated. The inner face is concave and has a central moulded rib and a triple moulded edge.  The fragment is mid-green / brown in colour with a mottled surface patina.  It measures 78.7mm in length, 75.1mm in width and has a thickness of 17.6mm. It weighs 387.2 grams.

An incomplete copper alloy cruciform stud or mount, likely a furniture fitting or decoration, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1800). The mount is domed. It has four lobes, making it a cruciform or quatrefoil shape. Each lobe has an incised line down the centre, and a central cross marking out the separate lobes. The reverse is concave, with an incomplete rectangular cross sectioned attachment spike present at the centre. It measures 24.6 mm in length, 23.5 mm wide and 13.4 mm thick. It weighs 20.6 g. The mount is a dark green colour, with an even surface patina.

The remains of the handle have a width of 42.3 mm. The fabric is a cream colour with frequent inclusions between 1 to 2 mm in size. The fabric is abraded in the internal surface.  The fragment measures 63.2 mm in height, 61.1 mm in width, 19 mm in thickness and weighs 57.4 grams.

A medieval rim sherd. The colour of the sherd is inconsistent: the salmon inner surface is the most uniform in colour, and the margins are mostly grey save for the top of the rim which is also salmon-coloured. The outer surface has areas of salmon as well as grey, but also features two distinct areas of green glaze which retains its sheen. A late neolithic to early bronze age flint thumbnail scraper. The shape is largely oval, and in section it protrudes toward the distal end. A small area of cortex is present on the dorsal face and the body is largely grey/warm brown, with an area of white on the ventral face. On the dorsal surface, there is short retouching visible on the outer rind, which in some areas appears parallel, and in other semi-parallel. The angle of retouch is semi-abrupt. The bulb of percussion is visible on the ventral face but appears quite subtle.

An incomplete copper alloy artefact, possibly from a door or window latch dating to circa AD 1600-1800.  It has a zoomorphic decoration in shape of a bird with a long curved beak. The reverse is flat and undecorated. It measures 53.5mm long at its longest point 4mm thick 14mm across at widest point. A parallel can be found on the database; DEV-12DEE1 discovered in Somerset. Another similar example has been published by Read (2021, 294-295) no. 1666.

An incomplete copper alloy trumpet brooch of Roman dating (AD 75 to AD 175). Less than 50% of the brooch is present, consisting of the central bow and central knop. The head and foot are missing. Petalled decoration is present above the knop. It measures 42.0 mm in legnth, 11.4 mm in diamter. It weighs 8.0 g.  Similar style trumpet brooches are depicted in Mackreth, plate 78, p 162.

A complete lead bi-convex spindle whorl of Medieval to early Post Medieval date (AD 1100-1500). The spindle whorl is bi-convex in shape and sub-circular in plan. It has a lentoid cross section, which fits into the Walton Rogers classification form C. The central hole is circular with an internal diameter of 8.6mm. A complete copper alloy sword pommel cap dating to the Early Medieval period (c.
