An Incomplete Iron Age to Roman copper-alloy linch pin terminal dating to cica 300 BC- AD 100. It is D-shaped in section with a flat integrally cast disc-shaped terminal. One side of the terminal disc a recessed circular element in the centre of which are two circles with central recessed circular fields. The recessed elements contain traces of red enamel inlay. The body of the pin is bulbous with flat projecting collar running the circumference.
