A group of thirteen Roman pewter vessels was initially exposed during a detecting rally on 3rd September 2022, but as they were clearly a hoard group and in poor condition excavation was postponed until 20th September when conservators were available to help lift the whole group. A small pit was identified as the feature within which the vessels had been buried. Laboratory excavation and conservation was carried out by Norfolk Museum Services. An incomplete cast lead-alloy button dating to the late Medieval or early Post-Medieval period, c. 1450-1550. It is circular in plan and plano-convex in section with a domed outer surface and flattened back, the latter demonstrating a raised central casting seam and the remains of the original shank at its midpoint. The outer face of the button has been ornately decorated with a motif consisting the head and shoulders of a crowned and robed woman (possibly representing the Virgin Mary as Queen of Heaven), with an uncertain circular design to either side of her head. An incomplete lead alloy early medieval (Anglo-Saxon) nummular (coin-like) brooch. It is disc-shaped and the design on the outer face imitates contemporary coinage. To the reverse there is the remains of a double lug pin fitting to one side and a small catch-plate remains intact at the other end. The outer face is decorated with a central voided cross formed from two pairs of crossed lines, surrounded by an inner circle and then a garbled legend of alternating raised crosses and letters. An incomplete lead or lead alloy medieval or early post-medieval pilgrim's badge. It is lozenge-shaped with a long strip attached to the reverse and folded flat against it, which was probably used for attachment. The front is decorated with a line of raised dots around the outside and a seated figure wearing long robes in the centre, probably Henry VI. The tip of one end is missing, but the item otherwise survives in fairly good condition. An incomplete pouch-shaped cast lead ampulla of Medieval date. It is damaged and partially flattened and both suspension lugs are missing. It has an elongated neck and oval shaped opening. One face carries moulded decoration of a possible upright leaf or feather which is very worn. No other decoration is visible. This ampulla measures 50.06mm in length, 26.84mm in width, 5.01mm in thickness, 31.58g in weight.

A crude, cast circular lead-alloy pilgrim badge probably of early 16th century date, measuring 17.70mm in diameter. It has a border of three concentric circles, the outer one is formed of small pellets and within this is a circle of larger pellets and then finally a circle of small pellets within this. In the centre is the standing facing figure of Henry VI holding the orb and sceptre. On the reverse there is an integral pin and clasp. A Roman lead-alloy steelyard weight. Roughly biconical in shape measuring 29.5mm in height and 24.9mm in width (across its widest central point). There are the corroded remains of iron loops projecting from out of both apexes. One loop would have been for suspension and the other would have held a hook on which to hang the thing being weighed.

Lead-alloy button, circular with a flat head 20 mm in diameter. The front has bevelled edges around a slightly raised border; within the border are traces of a worn relief design, perhaps a profile bust. On the reverse is a broken loop and a casting flash. Buttons made from lead alloy are common in the 17th century, but they tend to have convex fronts and to be more highly decorated.
