An Early Medieval silver sceat, Secondary Series, Series L, Type 15 dating to circa AD 600-750. Obverse: Cowled, square shouldered figure looking right holding long cross pomme either side, pellets on cross, feat splayed, beaded border. Reverse: Barrel chested, long armed figure facing, wearing plain robe flared at the waist, and holding a long cross pommée before. As Abramson 2006: 78, no L140.

The coin is poorly struck offcentre on an irregularly-shaped flan. This has resulted in approximately half of the outer circle (i.e. the area showing the inscription) being illegible.

An incomplete copper alloy Iron Age to Roman Langton Down brooch. The head is a hollow cylindrical shape with a rectangular notch in the centre of the reverse where the copper alloy head of the pin remains in situ. The upper edge of the bow is rounded and slightly expanded. The bow is flattened and straight in profile, slightly expanded at its foot. A complete copper alloy Roman probable rear hook Colchester derivative brooch. Only the head and the upper part of the bow survive. The head is semi-cylindrical in shape with a rounded outer face and concave reverse, much deeper in the centre. Traces of iron corrosion, presumably the remains of the pin, can be seen in places to the rear of the head. An incomplete copper alloy Roman double lug Colchester derivative brooch. The head of the brooch is semi-cylindrical in shape with a rounded outer face and concave reverse. A lug pierced with two holes projects from the centre of the reverse of the head, supporting an in situ copper alloy spring, chord and axis bar. An incomplete copper alloy late Iron Age to early Roman birdlip brooch. The head is trumpet-shaped with the remains of a single lug in the centre of the reverse where the sprung pin would have been attached originally (now missing). An incomplete copper-alloy Roman brooch of the Colchester Derivative Rear Hook type, dating to AD 43-70. The head is semi-cyllindrical and breaks at the side ends; only a small fragment of the rear facing hook survives on the top edge of the head.
