4 fragments of a puddingstone quern of probable Roman date. Puddingstone is distinctive conglomerate containing rounded red flint pebbles within a siliceous matrix, the main sources of which lie in Hertfordshire. Research carried out by Major (2004, 2-4) in Essex suggests that puddingstone rotary querns were produced here from at least 10 AD until around 160 AD and a similar chronology seems likely in Cambridgeshire. 1, Length: 34.14mm; width: 23.61mm; weight: 14.24g  2. A fragment of a copper-alloy Roman Colcheser derivate, Harlow CD Ha brooch. Only part of the bow and wings remain. The wings are broken at both ends, and all that remains are the remains of a pierced lug, suggesting it is a probable Colchester Dertivative double pierced lug.  Length: 12.45mm Width: 8.98/mm Weight: 1.24g

A copper-alloy contemporary copy of a Roman nummus of the House of Constantine, dating to the period c. AD 321-323 (Reece Period 16). BEATA TRAN-QVILLITAS reverse type depicting a globe on altar inscribed VOT/IS/XX, three stars above. Prototype of the mint of Trier. The weight, style, lettering in both legends, as wel as the misaligned altar suggest this is a contemporary copy.

A fragment Roman copper-alloy Colchester Derivative Harlow Spring/double lug brooch dating to circa AD 43-70. It is T-shaped in plan. The extant elements of the brooch consist of the wings and part of the upper bow. The wings are hemispherical and open at the reverse. On the reverse, in the centre, is a double lug with upper and lower circular apertures. An incomplete and very worn and corroded copper-alloy Roman Colchester bow brooch. It is missing most of the spring, pin and catchplate due to old breaks, and has suffered from extensive post-depositional wear and corrosion. The brooch has flat rectangular wings, separated at the centre of the head by an integral spring and hook, both of which are incomplete due to old breaks. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy skirted terret dating to circa AD 50-200. The extant element consists of the four leaved skirt. The main ring is missing, survived now by a short prong projecting from an oval platform resting on the apex of the skirt. Three circular knops projecting at the cardinal points. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy finger ring dating to circa aD 200-300. It has a faceted octagonal bezel with steep flat walls. In the centre is a bluestone gem setting with a central motif of probable corn ears. Only one of the shoulders survive. The extant shoulder consists of a narrowed, constricted section before it flares outwards. From here, the flared segment tapers inwards before terminating in an old break. A complete Roman copper-alloy ring-key dating to circa AD 200-410. It consits of a D-shaped, plano-convex in section. The stem emerges from the straight edge of the hoop. It is circular-sectioned and hollowed. The bit is offset from the stem and has a U-shaped notch along the top edge.  The key is consistent with Guiraud's Type 5a in that the stem is hollowed.

A fragment of a probable Roman copper-alloy bracelet or armlet dating to circa AD 250-410. The piece has one rounded terminal whilst the other end terminates in an old, work break. It is comprised of a rectangular in plan, plano-convex in section, strip of metal. The piece is plain.  Similar plain armlets are recorded in Crummy 1983: pg 38, nos 1640-1651.
