A clipped and damaged post-medieval silver halfgroat of Elizabeth I (1558-1603). Third coinage (North 2016). Initial mark: unclear, dating to 1583-1603. Mint of London (Tower). North (1975, 113). The coin measures 16.6mm in diameter and weighs 0.61g. It has suffered some small losses to its circumference and has recieved a crack in addition.
