Late Roman cu-alloy an issue of Licinius I (AD 308-24), dating to AD 321-4 (Reece Period 16). The obverse reads, with radiate head right, IMP C VAL LICIN LICINIVS P F AVG; the reverse legend is IOVI CONSERVATORI, with Jupiter standing left, chlamys over left shoulder, leaning on a sceptre with eagle. In his right hand he is holding a globe surmounted by a victory. On the ground to the left is an eagle holding a wreath, and to the right a captive. Mint of Nicomedia. RIC VII, p. 607, no. 44.
