A silvered copper-alloy radiate of Carus (AD 282-283), dating to the period c.AD 282-283 (Reece period 14). PAX AVGG reverse type depicting Pax standing left holding branch and transverse sceptre. Mint of Lyon. As RIC V.2, p. 136, no. 13; Gloucester, p. 90, no. 1629. The coin is in good condition, with no discernable wear and only a small amount of corrosion. It measures 22.3mm in diameter, 1.9mm thick and weighs 4.2g.
