A complete copper-alloy Roman radiate of Probus (AD 276-282), dating to the period AD 276-282 (Reece Period 14). VIRTVS PROBI AVG reverse type depicting the Emporer galloping left on horseback over an enemy. Reverse legend reads: VIRTVS PROBI AVG. Obverse depicts radiate bust left, in imperial mantle, with sceptre surmounted with an eagle. Obverse legend reads: []MP C [M] AVR PROBVS P F AVG. Mint: Siscia. Mint Mark: -//XXI[P][].
