A tarnished silver unit of Verica of the Atrebates, dating to the period AD 10-40. Struck on a dished flan. ABC 1250, VA 533, BMC 1421-49. Several of the same issue have been recorded on this database, mostly in the CCI catalogue detailing a possible hoard found in the 1970's in the Waltham St Lawrence area of Berkshire. Another two examples have been recorded from around the Ropely area of Hampshire. The distribution suggests a Calleva mint.
