'Danebury Double Boar' uninscribed silver unit of Iron Age date (65-40 BC). The obverse features opposed boars that are back-to-back and separated by ringed-pellets at the head and tail; both boars have a pelletal sun below. There is also a lyre-like design on left-hand side of the obverse. The boars are similar in design to ABC 884 (However the design of ABC 884 features the boars feet to feet. separated by a pelletal sun). The reverse of the coin has a horse left with a whirling sun above and ringed-pellets below (similar to ABC 872).

The coin has a copper-alloy core visible through the incomplete silver plating. cf. ABC, p. 111, no. 2169; BMC 2555-2636. The coin is 18.7mm in diameter, 3.3mm in thickness, and weighs 4.52g.
