A copper alloy Roman coin; a dupondius or as of unknown ruler, dating from 23 BC - AD 260. The coin is very corroded. Traces of a bust right are visible of the obverse, and on the reverse is a standing figure facing left holding a ?standard, spear or sceptre. The legends are illegible. The coin is 22.1mm diameter, 3.5mm thick and 4.4g. The edge of the coin is crumbling, but it has a smooth light yellow green patina.
