A very worn copper alloy coin of Roman date, possibly a sestertius. The coin is too poorly preserved to allow for any identification. Much of the obverse and reverse faces have corroded away removing the majority of the dark brown patina, coin types and legends, and revealing in many places the pale, powdery green metal beneath.
