A complete, Early-Mid Roman, struck or hammered, copper alloy - bronze sestertius of unknown Emperor. Obverse: Possible vague head outline. Inscription: Illegible. Reverse: Too corroded to identify. Inscription: Illegible. The coin is relatively circular in shape just a few slight irregularities. It is in extremely worn, poor condition and in an eroded/corroded state. Approximately half the coin has a pale green verdigris deposit over a pale brown matt surface probably due to being found in water logged ground conditions. Ref.
