A copper-alloy post-medieval Scottish Turner or Bodle (twopence) of Charles II (1660-1685),  AD 1677. Spink no. 5630. Mint uncertain.  Crown over a crossed sword and sceptre obverse. Thistle with leaves reverse. 1.9g in weight, and 18.7mm in diameter. Some wear to the faces of the coin with greater wear and some flaking to the edges.

A copper alloy Scottish coin, a sixpence or Bawbee of Charles II (1660-1685), dating from 1677 to 1679. Spink 5626-5628. Obverse: bust facing left [CAR  II D G SCO AN(G) FR ET HIB R(EX)] Reverse: leaved thistle crowned NEMO ME [ IMPV]NE [ LACESSet 167(7-9) ]  6.6g in weight, 25.1mm in diameter, and 2.0mm thick. The obverse side is very worn with no letters visable, some sharp details of the clothing, and only the outline of the face and hair is visible. The reverse is damged with mulitple areas of flaking around the edges and on the interior area.
