LIBERALITAS AVG III reverse type depicting Liberalitas standing left holding abacus and cornucopiae. Prototype of the mint of Rome. This coin combines an obverse of Philip II as caesar with a reverse type proper to Gordian III, cf. RIC IV.3, p. 23, no. 67 for the reverse type and RIC IV.3, p. 80, no. 95 for its use as a reverse type with Philip I.
